Meeting in “3+3” format could take place this year – Iranian official

A new meeting of the “3+3” consultative platform is expected to be held this year, said Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali, Trend reports.

He expressed hope for Georgia's presence at this meeting.

The ambassador noted that this format is the most effective for solving problems in the South Caucasus.

Baku and Ashgabat are negotiating to continue swap gas supplies

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are negotiating to continue swap gas supplies, the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) reported.

According to NIGC, gas supplies from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan via Iran have been temporarily suspended.

“Baku and Ashgabat are negotiating on this issue,” Iranian media write, referring to NIGC, noting that swap supplies will be resumed after an agreement is reached between the two countries.
