The US and the EU will not come and solve Armenia's problems, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said in parliament, commenting on the results of the Brussels meeting, Trend reports.

„We have illusory or unrealistic expectations that some allies or relatives will come and solve our problems. It is necessary to fix and consolidate the fact that we should solve all our problems ourselves“, he said.

Armenia is committed to the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, said Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Trend reports.

He made the remark at the press conference ahead of the joint EU-US-Armenia high-level meeting to be held in Brussels today.

The US continues to encourage Azerbaijan and Armenia to try to reach a durable agreement, US State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller said during a briefing on February 27, Trend reports.

„I don't have any announcements to make, but we continue to encourage both sides to try to reach a durable, lasting agreement“, he said.

Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers are set to meet in Germany on February 28 and 29.

NATO foreign ministers are meeting in Oslo today. Ahead of the session, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled to Sweden and urged Turkey and Hungary to ratify the Nordic country's membership in the organization. The bigger elephant in the room during the meeting will be another nation's membership prospects: those of Ukraine.

Uzbekistan and the US have discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the fields such as trade, economics, investment, education, and culture, Trend reports via the press service of Uzbekistan’s president.

The matter was discussed between Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
