According to the plan of the 2019 military training, approved by the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, tactical exercises with combat firing of rocket-artillery units are carried out at all-military training grounds, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports.

Practical classes on various topics are held at the training grounds with the participation of personnel, who have mastered theoretical knowledge and safety rules.

Within the framework of operational exercises throughout the whole Azerbaijan Army, the Navy carries out its assigned tasks.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, following the exercise plan, the tactical groups of ships involved in the maneuvers, accurately and effectively carry out their tasks in the Caspian Sea.

In the framework of operational exercises, conducted with the participation of the Azerbaijani army as a whole, the units of the Nakhchivan garrison troops were alerted with a combat alarm on the 12-th of  November 2019 and are in the state of combat readiness.

Operational exercises throughout the whole Azerbaijani army begin in Azerbaijan on November 12, 2019, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country reports.

The main objective of the three-stage military exercises will be to improve the training of headquarters and command and control bodies, as well as the interaction between the Army, Air Force, Navy, Missile and Artillery and Special Forces in the course of an offensive operation with the intersection of provocations of the contingent enemy.
