Armenia has actually frozen its participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during an interview with Greek newspaper Kathimerini, Trend reports.
Russia considers Yerevan’s rhetoric towards CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) ultimatum and offensive, the Spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said during a briefing, Trend reports.
“We cannot help but be alarmed by the counterproductive and ultimatum, and sometimes offensive, rhetoric that prevails today in the statements of the Armenian leadership on the topic,” Zakharova noted.
An online conference of the heads of the member-states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has been tentatively scheduled for January 10 to discuss the situation in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Armenian Prime Minister, CSTO acting chairman Nikol Pashinyan said, reports TASS.
„An online conference of the heads of the CSTO member-states has been tentatively scheduled for Jan. 10”, the press service stressed.
Three allies of Armenia in the CSTO congratulated Azerbaijan on the restoration of territorial integrity in the Ashgabat Consensus for Action adopted at the end of the 15th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, signed by the heads of state and government of the Organization's member states.
