Azerbaijan bought 265 thousand tons of wheat from Kazakhstan for nearly $ 60 million

Azerbaijan purchased 265 thousand tons of wheat from Kazakhstan, between January and September 2019, reported “Khabar 24”.

Compared to the same period last year, the volume of wheat import is increased by 30 percent. 
Overall, grain for 58,5 million American dollars was delivered to Azerbaijan.

According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan imported 1 112 879 tons of wheat between January and September 2019. This marks a 34.2 percent increase of the import of wheat. 240 747 290 American dollars were paid for the imported wheat.
