Every engagement of the US with Azerbaijan and Armenia is aimed at reaching a durable peace, US State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller said during a briefing on March 26, Trend reports.

„Our objectives in every engagement with the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan are to encourage them to work to bridge the differences between the two countries and reach a durable and lasting peace agreement“, he said.

The US continues to encourage Azerbaijan and Armenia to try to reach a durable agreement, US State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller said during a briefing on February 27, Trend reports.

„I don't have any announcements to make, but we continue to encourage both sides to try to reach a durable, lasting agreement“, he said.

Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers are set to meet in Germany on February 28 and 29.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has met with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian on the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijani FM wrote on his Twitter page.

According to the publication, regional and other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
