Turkey has started deporting foreigners – terrorists

“Anadolu” news agency reported last Friday, referring to Turkey's Minister of Interior - Süleyman Soylu, that the extradition of Islamic State terrorist detainees will begin on November 11, 2019.

On Monday, November 11, 2019, Turkey began the deportation of terrorist aliens.

According to the Anadolu Agency, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, this way, after completing the relevant legal procedures, was expelled a terrorist who came from the United States.

The documentation for the deportation of a terrorist, coming from Germany is being prepared. Another terrorist is expected to be deported to Denmark during the day.

This way, Turkey is preparing to deport three terrorists overnight.

On November 14, 2019, it is planned to deport seven terrorists who came from Germany and are detained yet in the special centers.

“Anadolu” news agency reported last Friday, referring to Turkey's Minister of Interior - Süleyman Soylu, that the extradition of Islamic State terrorist detainees will begin on November 11, 2019.

“We tell Europe, “We will return these people”, and we shall start on Monday," Soylu said.

Earlier last week, Soylu warned that Turkey would send the captive fighters of the Islamic State back to Europe – the place from where they arrived in the Middle East. He condemned Belgium's previously announced proposal, that trials of captive Islamic State fighters could be conducted where they committed their crimes.

In the same context, the head of the Turkish Ministry of Interior accused Europe for “applying double standards, as they have always done”.

Soylu mentioned that Turkey has detained some 1,200 Islamic State members, with another 287, being detained during the Turkish military operation in northern Syria.
