Kyrgyzstan and Japan agreed to establish a digital university

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov today, December 20, as part of his official visit to Japan, took part in the ceremony announcing bilateral documents following the Business Forum of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue (CA+JAD), the press service of the Kyrgyz president reports.

The event brought together around 300 business representatives from Central Asian countries and Japan, representing a wide range of sectors, including industry and mechanical engineering, energy, transport and logistics, finance and insurance, information technologies, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and education, as well as high-tech industries and innovative development.

At the Central Asia-Japan Business Forum, held on December 20 with the participation of state leaders, a memorandum of trilateral cooperation was signed, providing for the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Japan Digital University (K-JDU), the High-Tech Park of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to the information, the project aims to deepen cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan in the fields of information technology and education. The new university is designed to meet the growing demand in both countries' IT sectors for qualified specialists, including those with knowledge of Japanese and modern digital solutions.

The document was signed by representatives of the Japanese company Digital Knowledge Co., Ltd., the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center for Human Development, and the High-Tech Park of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the memorandum, the parties intend to jointly develop educational programs to train IT specialists in demand on the international market, as well as expand academic and technological cooperation between the two countries.
