The call of Azerbaijan on the establishment of a green energy zone in the country’s liberated territories covering the Karabakh region was positively appreciated by international structures, reports the Ministry of Energy.

Opportunities for cooperating with international financial institutions for the creation of such zone were discussed at the coordination meeting held online by the ministry, and the international structures voiced their interest in the relevant cooperation.

Below, we publish without comment, the text of the joint statement of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – I. G. Aliyev, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia – N. V. Pashinyan and the President of the Russian Federation – V. V. Putin, announcing the framework of the peace agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia with the mediation of the Russian Federation.

The Secretariat of GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (ODED GUAM) made a statement on the liberation of Azerbaijani Shusha city from Armenian occupation, “Trend” reports citing GUAM.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that the Azerbaijani troops liberated Shusha city, Russian political analyst Sergei Markov wrote on his Facebook page.

“This is the main moment of the war,” Markov said. "One can say that the second Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh war ended with the complete victory of Azerbaijan."

In the Armenian military forces - occupied city of Khankendi (Stepanakert), a spontaneous evacuation of residents has begun. This was reported by the correspondent of the Russian newspaper “Izvestia”.

According to him, people are sending them to Yerevan en masse.

From the morning hours of September 29, 2020, the Azerbaijani army's offensive against the city of Fuzuli continues, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced.

“From 07:00 to 08:00 in the morning, four more tanks of the Armenian troops were destroyed by our heroic wars on the Fuzuli-Jebrail front line. At the moment, the fighting continues”, the ministry said in its statement.
