Georgia will take part in NATO naval exercises

Georgia, together with 12 NATO member countries and partners, will take part in the international naval exercise “Sea Shield 24”, which will be held in Romania from April 8 to 21, the press service of the Romanian Ministry of Defense reported.

According to the information, in addition to Georgia and Romania, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the USA, Turkey and France will take part in the exercises.

The protocol for Finland's entry into NATO has been submitted for consideration to the presidium of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Turkish mass media reported.

Before that, the protocol was signed by the President of the Republic - Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after his negotiations with his Finnish counterpart - Sauli Niinisto.

After consideration by the presidium, the deputies will vote on the document.
