Turkmenistan to send batch of liquefied gas to Uzbekistan free of charge

Turkmenistan will send a batch of liquefied gas to Uzbekistan free of charge, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

According to the information, this order was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in order to support the neighboring country and further strengthen the partnership between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Amid global economic instability, Azerbaijan’s mitigating role in energy crisis is rapidly increasing. With Azerbaijan and the EU agreeing on doubling the supplies of Azerbaijani gas by 2027, the country’s gas exports to Europe are expected to be 20 bcm, while this year at least 11.6 bcm is planned to be supplied. Moreover, Azerbaijan’s total gas exports this year are expected at 24 bcm.

The UAE company “Auguste International” F.Z.E. will supply equipment and spare parts for “Turkmengas”

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed an order on the conclusion of a contract between the Turkmengas State Concern and the UAE Auguste International F.Z.E. for the purchase of technical equipment and spare parts, the “Watan” newscast of the Turkmen television reported on November 17-th, 2021.

The technical equipment and spare parts will be used to replace obsolete equipment and repair installations at gas production stations of Dovletabatgazchykarysh department of the state concern in south-eastern Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan to organize international forum of its oil, gas sector

An international forum on attracting investments in the country's oil and gas sector will be organized in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.

The forum will be held on May 12-13, 2021 in Ashgabat, and it will discuss global and regional trends in the development of the fuel and energy sector, the implementation of regional projects in this area, including the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline.

At the headquarters of the Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Complex, a reporting meeting was chaired by Vice Prime Minister for the Fuel and Energy Complex (FEC) Miratgeldi Meredova, “Trend.az” reports, citing information from the “Turkmengaz” state concern.

Deputy Prime Minister Meredova has set the tasks ahead of the oil and gas industry.
