Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are planning to create a joint venture in the railway sector.

As Trend reports, the presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed their support for the initiative to create this joint venture.

It is assumed that the management of the enterprise will be carried out jointly by the railway administrations of the two countries.

Turkmenistan might export a large volume of energy resources to Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Kazakhstan, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at the 15th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Ashgabat, Trend reports.

“This terminal will function both for sugar transportation to Uzbekistan and for our export supplies. We want to use public-private partnership for this, so that Uzbek entrepreneurs invest in the development of the infrastructure of the port of Alat for further use”, he said.
