Оперативное командование "Юг" сообщило в Facebook о поступлении первых трех зенитных самоходных артиллерийских установок Gepard. Военные разместили видео с обзором возможностей современного оружия, полученного Вооруженными силами Украины.

Установки базируются на шасси танка Leopard 1, говорится в сообщении. На башне установлены две 35 мм пушки Oerlikon KDA и два радара, фиксирующих цель на расстоянии до 15 км.

What I have said on the subject is easiest to be seen by watching the talk show, but here I would like to emphasize a few things:

The United States is still "a ways away" from any possible decision on whether to re-introduce U.S. troops into Ukraine, General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said on Monday, even as he acknowledged low-level planning underway.

President Joe Biden decided to withdraw American troops from Ukraine before Russia's Feb. 24 invasion in order to avoid a direct conflict with a nuclear-armed adversary.

The so-called M.P. in the State Duma from the annexed  Crimea by Russia - Mikhail Sheremet has proposed the Soviet flag to become the new state flag of Russia. This was announced on May 18, 2022 by the Russian agency RIA Novosti.

Sheremet said the West feared the Soviet flag because "the red flag of victory reminds him of the greatness of our people and our great victory".

The member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, elected with the list of the party "United Russia" - Oleg Morozov has threatened Poland that Russia will attack it immediately after Ukraine. Morozov wrote about this in almost plain text in his Telegram channel.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Friday the bloc would provide a further 500 millions euros worth of military support to Ukraine and that he was confident a deal could be reached in the coming days to agree an embargo on Russian oil.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the G7 foreign ministers meeting in northern Germany, Borrell said the military support would be for heavy weapons such as tanks and artillery and take the bloc's aid to about 2 billion euros.

What Happened: Germany has dropped its opposition to a Russian oil embargo as long as it has enough time to wind down imports and find alternatives, The Wall Street Journal reported April 28. On April 27, Germany's economic minister announced that the country had struck a deal with Poland to increase oil imports through the Polish port of Gdansk, which is equipped to handle supertankers and has a pipeline that can send crude oil to a German refinery in Schwedt on the German-Polish border.
