US State Department reacts to Pashinyan’s remarks on urgency of border demarcation with Azerbaijan

The US State Department reacted to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's remarks regarding the urgency of border demarcation with Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson of the US State Department said during a briefing that the US continues to pay close attention to this issue.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that the Azerbaijani troops liberated Shusha city, Russian political analyst Sergei Markov wrote on his Facebook page.

“This is the main moment of the war,” Markov said. "One can say that the second Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh war ended with the complete victory of Azerbaijan."

Jamanak Daily: Armenia and Russia are going to sign a new agreement on Gyumri military base

According to a statement in the “Jamanak Daily”, Armenia and Russia have reached an agreement on the state visit of Nikol Pashinyan to Russia in February 2020 and the visit of Vladimir Putin to Armenia in the autumn.

In 2020 a new agreement is going to be signed to almost double the potential of the 102nd Russian base in Gyumri. The last was stated by the Russian Minister of Defense - Sergei Shoigu, during his recent visit to Yerevan.
