According to a statement in the “Jamanak Daily”, Armenia and Russia have reached an agreement on the state visit of Nikol Pashinyan to Russia in February 2020 and the visit of Vladimir Putin to Armenia in the autumn.
In 2020 a new agreement is going to be signed to almost double the potential of the 102nd Russian base in Gyumri. The last was stated by the Russian Minister of Defense - Sergei Shoigu, during his recent visit to Yerevan.
