Как сообщает в пятницу Trend, этот вопрос нашел свое отражение в поправке к закону "О приватизации государственного имущества", которая обсуждалась сегодня на заседании Милли Меджлиса (парламент) Азербайджана.
An agreement on long-term cooperation has been signed between Azercosmos OJSC and the Kenyan CommCarrier company, Trend reports via the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.
The CommCarrier will serve its partners in the Central and East Africa region in the Ku band [primarily used for satellite communications] of the Azerspace-2 satellite.
The Azerbaijani section of the South Caucasus Gas Pipeline has been provided with access to satellite internet, Trend reports on December 15 via SOCAR Midstream Operations company.
In this regard, the company and the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos OJSC) signed the cooperation agreement.
SOCAR Midstream Operations said that the use of satellite internet will improve the quality of operation of the South Caucasus Gas Pipeline by improving communication with remote areas.
Azerbaijan’s Azercosmos OJSC and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of remote sensing services, the company reports.
The agreement envisions using images of the Azersky satellite by the academy in projects on agriculture, ecology, cartography, planning and monitoring of infrastructure, updating cadastral data, and determining tourist routes.
Azercosmos - operator of the Azerspace-1 & Azerspace-2 satellites together with Belgian satellite service provider SatADSL, are pleased to announce a new partnership agreement. Under the new agreement, SatADSL, thanks to it’s Cloud-based Service Delivery Platform (C-SDP), will provide accessible and reliable internet access using the Central Asian beam of the Azerspace-1 satellite.
The entire territory of Azerbaijan is being monitored, including the Vardenis-Agdere road, which is one of the most important strategic routes and is already under the control of the Azerbaijani army.

President Ilham Aliyev received the chairman of the open joint-stock company “Azercosmos” - Rashad Nabiyev. The reason of the meeting was the success of Azerbaijan state, which won the right to hold the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Baku in 2022. This right was obtained after an election held at the General Assembly of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in the capital of the United States, Washington.
