Hope that new EU – Azerbaijan agreement will be signed before the end of 2021 – Romanian Foreign Minister

We hope that a new agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan will be signed before the end of this year, Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu said, Trend reports.

The minister made the statement at a press conference in Tbilisi.

“While in Azerbaijan, we noted our confidence that this country is key to the stability and prosperity of the South Caucasus”, he said.

Expressing the hope that the agreement will be signed soon, he noted that at the moment the parties are negotiating in this regard.

Note that in the period from 24 to 26 May, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Lithuania and Romania Alexander Schallenberg, Gabrielius Landsbergis and Bogdan Aurescu visited the countries of the South Caucasus.
