The turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is 5 percent up

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan also cooperate within the framework of the Turkic Business Council, which has become the traditional platform of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS), which gathers together Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Hungary.

In the period January – October, 2019, the volume of the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan reached 191 228.67 thousand dollars, which is by 8 773.04 thousand dollars or by 4.8% more than in the same period last year.

According to calculations, made on the basis of the report of the State Customs Committee, in the first 10 months of 2019, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan was $ 21 135.5 thousand, which is by $ 19 054.07 thousand or by 47, 4% less than in the same period last year.

On its turn, the volume of imports was $ 170,093.17 thousand. Compared to the same period of 2018, this indicator increased by $ 27,827.11 thousand or 19.6%.

Thus, for the period under review, a negative trade balance of $ 148,957.67 thousand was formed for Azerbaijan, which is $ 46,881, $ 18,000 or 45.9% more than in the same period in 2018.
