Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan discuss prospects of increasing cargo transportation

Representatives of the Land Transport Agency of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the "Turkmenavtoulaglar" (Turkmen Transport) Agency under the Government of Turkmenistan have discussed a number of issues related to the increase of freight flows passing through the territory of both countries and the expansion of cooperation between the two institutions, "Turkmenavtoulaglar" reported.

Kazakhstan to increase volume of oil transit via Azerbaijan

KazTransOil, the national oil transporter of Kazakhstan, shipped 9,959 tons of oil from the Tengiz oil field to Azerbaijan, Trend reports, citing KazTransOil.

Oil was sent to Baku by the “President Heydar Aliyev” oil tanker from Kazakhstan's port of Aktau. Upon reaching Azerbaijan, the natural resource export will continue via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

SOCAR starts transit of Kazakh oil via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline

State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has announced the start of the transit of Kazakh oil through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline. The first shipment of Kazakh oil from the Tengiz field arrived at the Sangachal Terminal in Azerbaijan from the port of Aktau via the “President Heydar Aliyev” tanker on March 23, Trend reports citing company.

Length of roads constructed in Azerbaijan in 2022 revealed

Azerbaijan's State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads built, reconstructed, and repaired 803.5 kilometers of highways, avenues, and streets last year, Chairman of the Agency Saleh Mammadov said during a media tour to Aghali village in the Zangilan district, Trend reports.

According to him, in 2021, the length of the roads built and repaired amounted to 728.3 kilometers.

Bp resumes oil transportation through Baku-Supsa pipeline – regional president

bp has resumed oil transportation through the Baku-Supsa pipeline, said Gary Jones, bp Regional President to Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye during a briefing dedicated to bp's plans for the future, Trend reports.

According to him, two tankers with oil have already been delivered to the Georgian Supsa port.

"Depending on weather conditions, oil via Baku-Supsa will be transported to world markets," he added.

Israeli authorities chose Azerbaijan

Baku will host an official meeting of Israeli ambassadors to Eurasia with the participation of high-ranking officials of the central apparatus of the foreign ministry on January 16-18.
