The only country that can ensure the renewal of the agreement on the Black Sea Grain Corridor is Turkey.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this during his speech at the 14th Conference of Ambassadors, Trend reported on Monday, citing TurkicWorld.

He said that contacts with all countries will continue in connection with the restoration of the grain corridor, which is essential for the world during the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

We remind you that on July 17, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Russia had terminated the grain deal.

The Grain Corridor Agreement was signed in Ankara in July 2022 between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN due to the inability of Ukrainian grain ships to leave Black Sea ports as a result of the war between Russia and Ukraine. As part of the August 1, 2022 corridor agreement, more than 1,000 ships have transported about 33 million tons of grain.
