The Deputy Minister of  Foreign Affairs of Ukraine – Sergiy Kyslytsya, published a photograph of the ceremony in his Twitter account and reminded that through the Golodomor up to 25,000 Ukrainians per day, died from the artificially induced hunger.

According to “Ukrinform”, the liturgy was served by clergy from three denominations - the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the United States, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Church.

The web site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Ukraine states that up today, 24 countries have recognized the Golodomor as a genocide.

At the end of 2018 the same decision took the Congress of the United States.
