Internally displaced Azerbaijanis are returning to their homes

Last month, the first group of internally displaced Azerbaijanis - people forcibly displaced from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan in the early 1990s - headed back to their native land in the Zangilan region of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani emigrants set out for their long-lost homeland to reclaim it, with the hope that other IDPs will follow the example of these first returning pioneers.

Azerbaijan's Karabakh Revival Fund is negotiating to attract investments in the field of renewable energy sources (RES), chairman of the board of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev said at the Japan-Azerbaijan investment forum held in Baku, Trend reports.

According to Hajiyev, the Karabakh Revival Fund is developing a special project for this purpose.

International structures willing to cooperate for a “Green Energy Zone” in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh

The call of Azerbaijan on the establishment of a green energy zone in the country’s liberated territories covering the Karabakh region was positively appreciated by international structures, reports the Ministry of Energy.

Opportunities for cooperating with international financial institutions for the creation of such zone were discussed at the coordination meeting held online by the ministry, and the international structures voiced their interest in the relevant cooperation.
