“DeGolyer and MacNoughton” starts counting Caspian deposits according to new ckassification

Within the framework of cooperation between SOCAR and "DeGolyer and MacNaughton", work on counting 27 fields according to SPE-PRMS classification in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea has started, Trend reports.

According to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), a meeting was held between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Chairman and CEO of DeGolyer and MacNaughton John W. Wallace.

Kazakhstan plans to deliver 100,000 tons of oil to Germany through the “Druzhba” pipeline in August this year.

This was announced on Sunday by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the information, it is planned to transport oil in the direction of PSN “Samara” for its further delivery in the direction of “Adamova zastava” (Poland - Germany) from the resources of the company "Karachaganak Petroleum Operating" B.V.

SOCAR, KazMunayGas ink memorandum on transit of Kazakhstani oil

Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR and Kazakhstan’s National Company KazMunayGas have signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation for the transit of Kazakhstani oil through the territory of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

The document was signed following a meeting between the Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Ali Asadov and Alikhan Smailov, in Baku, says Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.

KazTransOil, the national oil transporter of Kazakhstan, shipped 9,959 tons of oil from the Tengiz oil field to Azerbaijan, Trend reports, citing KazTransOil.

Oil was sent to Baku by the “President Heydar Aliyev” oil tanker from Kazakhstan's port of Aktau. Upon reaching Azerbaijan, the natural resource export will continue via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

Kazakhstan plans to send another 20,000 tons of oil to Germany via the Druzhba oil pipeline in April, Kazinform news agency reports.

As Minister of Energy Bolat Akchulakov announced on the sidelines of the Council of Ministers during a government meeting, the first batch of 20 thousand tons has already been shipped, the second batch - in the same volume was sent in March. In general, according to the contract, Kazakhstan should deliver 300 thousand tons of oil.
