Through the course of the exercises, the commanders' and staffs' skills in commanding the forces were refined, and the readiness of the battleship units to perform combat missions was checked, including the protection of energy infrastructure in the territorial waters of Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea.
The tactical exercises of the Azerbaijan Navy on the protection of energy infrastructure in the territorial waters of Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea have been completed.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the purpose of the exercises conducted to work out the issues of planning and conducting combat operations with interaction of the battleship tactical groups, was to organize joint actions in the composition of the naval units.
