Bulgartransgaz's hydrogen transportation infrastructure project has been included in the EU's list of projects of common interest (PCI) and will become an important 'green' project for the country and the region, the head of „Bulgartransgaz“ Vladimir Malinov said, Trend reports.

According to him, Bulgartransgaz's proposed project to create infrastructure for hydrogen transportation is key to the implementation of the concept of clean hydrogen transportation.

The Southern Gas Corridor, launched in late 2020 to supply Azerbaijani gas to Europe, will be discussed at the 5th Meeting of TEN-E (Trans-European Networks for Energy) cross-regional groups, Trend reports with reference to the European Commission.

The discussions are scheduled for June 22.

The European Commission recognises the importance of the Ionian-Adriatic Pipeline (IAP) for the regional gas market, in particular Croatia, Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a source in the European Commission told Trend.
