In 2020, the Swiss company “Calyx Capital Advisors” will move its plant for the production of control panels for home appliances, from Poland to the Ukraine. This was reported on November 11, 2019 by “Ukraine Business News” (UBN).

The company will be located in Ivano-Frankivsk, where it will employ about 1000 people.

“Ukraine can become a major manufacturing hub of the future. You won't be able to find people in Poland. Hungary is too expensive. From the big countries, you only have Romania and Ukraine”, said Tobias Hundertmark, managing partner of Calyx, while speaking to the Kiev International Economic Forum.

Also next year, Calyx begins work in the new Industrial Park in Bila Tserkva on the construction of a spare parts production plant. The result of the project would be the transfer of 450 jobs from Germany to the Ukraine.

Further, in a longer term, the company plans to borrow more than 25,000 square meters in the “Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plant” to create a European Union-oriented “business campus” for spare parts and services, that will employ 5,000 people.
