Georgia’s parliament passes law on foreign agents in its third and final reading

During a plenary session, Georgia's Parliament passed the law on foreign agents in its third and final reading, Trend reports.

The live broadcast of the session was available on the legislative body's website.

"84 in favor and 30 against. The law is passed," announced the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, concluding the voting process.

At a plenary meeting, the Parliament of Georgia supported the bill “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” in the second reading.

As Trend reports with reference to Georgian media, the vote was broadcast live on the website of the legislative body.

„83 deputies voted “for” the bill, 23 “against”,” said Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, summing up the voting results.
