The Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, Marat Karabayev, introduced to the Minister of Transport and Digital Development of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, the draft road map for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), which is planned to be signed by its participants.

The ability to work online will further increase the number of women in the innovation sector, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev said during an event dedicated to the STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Math] festival, Trend reports.

“Women specialists will play a big role in the further development of not only the economy, but also various other sectors of activity," he noted.

The liberated territories of Azerbaijan will contribute to the further development and expansion of the TRACECA corridor, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev said.

Nabiyev made the remark during the 15th session of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission held via videoconference, at which the chairmanship of the commission passed to Bulgaria.

Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies is ready to cooperate on the digitalization of the TRACECA corridor, Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev said.

Nabiyev made the statement during the meeting with Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA Asset Asavbayev on June 21, 2021.

National Secretary of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission on Azerbaijan Rufat Bayramov also attended the meeting.

President Ilham Aliyev received the chairman of the open joint-stock company “Azercosmos” - Rashad Nabiyev. The reason of the meeting was the success of Azerbaijan state, which won the right to hold the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Baku in 2022. This right was obtained after an election held at the General Assembly of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in the capital of the United States, Washington.
