Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov attended a NATO meeting, organized on 25 October 2019 at NATO Headquarters in Brussels at the level of Defense Ministers of the countries, which contribute to the “Resolute Support Mission” in Afghanistan.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the issues of security and the political situation in Afghanistan, the recent achievements of the mission, its future and a number of other issues were discussed.
