"Cotton Campaign" coalition to assess cotton harvest results in Uzbekistan


Representatives of the international Cotton Campaign coalition will be visiting Uzbekistan for assessing the results of the 2019 cotton harvest in the country, Trend reported via Uzbek media.

The Cotton Campaign is a global coalition of human rights, labor, investor and business organizations dedicated to eradicating child labor and forced labor in cotton production of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan mulls prospects for co-op with SCO


Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Vladimir Norov met with Turkmen Ambassador to China Parahat Durdyev in Beijing, “” reports with reference to the SCO website.

"Procter & Gamble" intends to start production in Uzbekistan


The US “Procter & Gamble” company is interested in the possibility of starting production in Uzbekistan.

The prospects of the initiative were discussed at a meeting held at Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, “” reports citing the press service of the ministry.

The company returned to Uzbekistan for product selling in 2017. Currently, 260 people work in the staff of its distribution network.

Turkey has increased exports of its defense industry products to Uzbekistan five times
