“Studies show that every job in the production of metal-cutting machines, creates six to seven jobs in the ordinary industry”, said Alexander Subbotin.
The Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) countries will find it easier to occupy their niche in foreign markets if they work together, Alexander Subbotin said.
The Eurasian Union countries will jointly expand the lathe industry. This was stated by Alexander Subbotin, a member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, responsible for industry and agricultural production, during a telecast at the Sputnik Armenia International Multimedia Center.
The production of metal-cutting machines, helps the development of the local industry and also creates many new jobs. The more lathes there are, the greater the production is.
“Studies show that every job in the production of metal-cutting machines, creates six to seven jobs in the ordinary industry”, said Alexander Subbotin.
Together, we can better understand where and to whom it is easier to conduct new research, and where to apply already existing technologies, Subbotin noted.
Another common project is to become the Eurasian Jewelry Brand. Here, Armenia may be useful to its EAEC partners. Together, it will be easier for us to occupy our niche in foreign markets, said the member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
It should be noted, that in the Soviet times, dozens of lathe types were produced in Armenia, including lathes with numerical program management. Today, only a few lathes are produced annually in the country.
