Denmark became the first donor to rebuild Ukraine's destroyed energy infrastructure

As a result of the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, about 30 percent of the infrastructure was destroyed, said on April 18 the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine - Alexander Kubrakov.

Denmark became the first donor to the fund set up by the European Energy Community to rebuild energy infrastructure in Ukraine. This was announced on April 25, 2022, by the press service of the Council of Ministers of Ukraine on its official website.

It is noted that the funds from the fund will be used to restore the energy infrastructure damaged or destroyed after the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine.

The Council of Ministers assumes that the selection of suppliers will be made by international agencies with experience in the field of energy.
