This was reported to “Trend.az” at the Turkish Ministry of Commerce.
“Moreover, in October 2019, exports of goods from Turkey's defense industry to Uzbekistan decreased by 20.94 percent compared to October 2018 and amounted to $ 116.150 thousand”, stated the ministry.
It should be noted that, according to the results of the ten month period (January-October) of 2019, Turkey's defense industry export grew with 37.5 percent year-over-year to $ 2.136 billion.
In October 2019, exports of Turkey's defense industry output increased with 35.8 percent, compared to October 2018, reaching $ 280.620 million.
In the last 12 months (October 2018 - October 2019), Turkey's defense industry exports grew with 35.5 percent to $ 2.619 billion, compared to the same period for 2017 – 2018.
Between January and October 2019, Turkey's exports grew by 1.60 percent over exports for the same period in 2018, reaching $ 137.064 billion.
In October 2019, Turkey's exports decreased by 0.33 percent, compared to October 2018, reaching $ 15.229 billion.
