A road map for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) will be signed

It should be noted that the delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Minister Karabayev, visited Baku International Trade Port and Port Stations, Baku Shipyard, Absheron Logistics Center, Khovsani Port, Bash-Alyat Station, as well as the Capital Railway Station, where the passenger railway cars of the Swiss company "Stadler" were introduced to the Minister.

The Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, Marat Karabayev, introduced to the Minister of Transport and Digital Development of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, the draft road map for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), which is planned to be signed by its participants.

According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, the document was developed within the framework assigned by the Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan as a result of the meeting in June. It takes into account the recommendations for integrated transport development reflected in the analytical report of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the transport connectivity of Europe and Central Asia.

Marat Karabaev noted the successes and achievements of both countries in the development of the Middle Corridor. He emphasized that expanding the transit potential is a priority task for strengthening the friendly relations between the Caspian countries.
