Georgia to send observers to Azebaijan

The Chairman of the CEC of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov said that the invitation was sent to the CEC of 15 countries in connection with the participation of observers in the municipal elections.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia will send representatives to Azerbaijan to monitor the municipal elections to be held on December 23, Ana Mikeladze, Spokesperson of the Georgian Centralen Election Commission (CEC) told Georgian bureau of “Report”.

According to her, the Central Election Commission of Georgia has already received an invitation from the CEC of Azerbaijan:

“Representatives of the CEC of Georgia will certainly observe the municipal elections in Azerbaijan. No decision has yet been made on the exact number of observers to be sent to Azerbaijan”.

Notably, yesterday Chairman of the CEC of Azerbaijan - Mazahir Panahov said, that the invitation was sent to the CEC of 15 countries in connection with the participation of observers in the municipal elections.
