The State Building and Law Commission of the Armenian Parliament rejected a bill criminalizing Armenia's renouncement from Azerbaijan's Karabakh, Trend reports via the Armenian media.

Transshipment of metal products via Baku Port almost doubles, thanks to Kazakhstan

Some 245,000 tons of non-ferrous metal products were transshipped through Baku Port from January through July 2023, which is 85 percent higher year-on-year, Trend reports.

According to the port's data, the bulk of metal products (aluminum, zinc, cathode copper) was received by the Port from Kazakhstan.

The total volume of transported non-ferrous metal products for the same period last year exceeded 132,000 tons.

Greece bolsters gas imports from Azerbaijan – EU shares latest data

Greece has significantly increased its gas imports from Azerbaijan, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.

June saw a notable surge in imports, with 174.6 million cubic meters received, compared to 163 million cubic meters in May, marking a 7.1 percent month-on-month increase.

Greece imported a total of 1.020 billion cubic meters of gas from Azerbaijan between January and June 2023.
