Designated EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar has arrived in Yerevan, Armenia, on a visit, Trend reports.

According to the information, the EU representative met with Armenian Parliament Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan.

During the meeting, the situation in the South Caucasus and cooperation between Armenia and the EU were discussed.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have resolved the issue at the negotiating table for the first time, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan told reporters, commenting on the agreements on the first stage of border delimitation, Trend reports.

"It is very important to state that for the first time, Armenia and Azerbaijan have resolved the issue at the negotiating table," he emphasized.

The US and the EU will not come and solve Armenia's problems, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said in parliament, commenting on the results of the Brussels meeting, Trend reports.

„We have illusory or unrealistic expectations that some allies or relatives will come and solve our problems. It is necessary to fix and consolidate the fact that we should solve all our problems ourselves“, he said.

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will not attend meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of CIS scheduled for April 12 in Minsk, Trend reports citing Armenian media.

Press Secretary of the Ministry Ani Badalyan has not commented on reasons of the mentioned step.

Armenia is committed to the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, said Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Trend reports.

He made the remark at the press conference ahead of the joint EU-US-Armenia high-level meeting to be held in Brussels today.
