Turkey is closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said following the Munich Security Conference, Trend reports citing the Turkish media.

„The military activity is observed there”, Akar said. „This activity has some consequences. The media outlets spread this news. It is necessary to evaluate the news thoroughly because there is disinformation, fake news. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent some undesirable situations”.

The Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF) is following political and economic situation in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to study the best calendar and the objectives that could be used for a possible business mission, Chief Operating Officer of the MEDEF Bogdan Gadenne-Feertchak told Trend.

Turkmenistan discussed preparations for the extraordinary presidential election in the country with the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) and Organization of Turkic States (OTS), reports Orient News.

Eurostat reveals import and export data with Turkmenistan for 10M2021

Turkmenistan’s total exports to European Union countries rose by 63 percent in January-October 2021 compared to the previous year and reached 440.3 million euros, Eurostat told Trend.

Turkmenistan exported to Italy goods worth 59.2 million euros during the reporting period, compared to 74.6 million euros in January-October 2020.

Azerbaijan, EU reach preliminary agreement on sheep wool export – Food Safety Agency

A preliminary agreement has been reached on the export of sheep wool from Azerbaijan to Europe, the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan stated.

According to the agency, work on expanding cooperation between the Agency and the relevant structures of the EU countries, and bringing Azerbaijan's veterinary control system up to standards of the World Organization for Animal Health (formerly the Office International des Epizooties (OIE)) is underway.

Armenian media reported that allegedly, SOCAR is in talks over purchasing a bitumen plant in this country with Georgia’s mediation.

Ibrahim Ahmadov, deputy head of the public relations and events department at Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR told Trend that such absurd statements are incompatible with the level of SOCAR.
