The major points of the joint agenda of the Trilateral Working Group were discussed at the meeting in accordance with the implementation of Clause 9 of the 9 December 2020 Statement by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and President of the Russian Federation, as well as Clauses 2, 3 and 4 of the 11 January 2021 Statement.
In pursuance of the 11 January 2021 Statement by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and President of the Russian Federation, on 30 January 2021 Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk held the first meeting of the trilateral working group in Moscow.
The major points of their joint agenda were discussed at the meeting in accordance with the implementation of Clause 9 of the 9 December 2020 Statement by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and President of the Russian Federation (look: https://blacksea-caspia.eu/bg/mir-v-nagorni-karabakh ), as well as Clauses 2, 3 and 4 of the 11 January 2021 Statement.
The parties agreed to establish the following expert subgroups related to:
- railway, automobile and intermodal transport;
- transportation, including security, border, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary and other types of control.
The parties agreed to finish the formation of the expert groups by 2 February 2021 and hold their first meetings by 5 February 2021.
The next meeting of the trilateral working group is scheduled to be held in Moscow. The date will be fixed by the co-chairs in due course.
