Chinese company plans to build a technopark and solar power plant in Fergana

A Chinese company plans to build an innovative technology park on 25 hectares in the Fergana region and a solar photovoltaic plant on 500 hectares with an investment of $350 million.

The electricity generated at the station will be used to supply foreign enterprises located in the technopark.

The Technopark aims to produce products based on modern innovative technologies, including software and information technology.

Turkmenistan can supply natural gas to European market until 050 – ambassador

Turkmenistan has the opportunity to supply natural gas to the European market until 2050, Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan Diego Ruiz Alonso said in an interview with the Turkmen ORIENT news agency.

Diego Ruiz Alonso said that during this period, Europe, which focused on the “green economy”, will still be forced to use traditional, hydrocarbon fuels.

Uzbek home appliance manufacturer Artel joins United Nations Global Compact

SOCAR’s STAR refinery tests numerous types of crude oil

The STAR refinery of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan has tested 28 different types of crude oil, head of the SOCAR Turkey Refinery and Petrochemicals Business Unit, director general of Petkim petrochemical complex Anar Mammadov said at a press conference for the Azerbaijani reporters.

Mammadov said that today the refinery buys oil mainly from Kazakhstan, Russia, Norway, as well as from Tunisia, Morocco, and the Mediterranean countries.
