International structures willing to cooperate for a “Green Energy Zone” in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh

The call of Azerbaijan on the establishment of a green energy zone in the country’s liberated territories covering the Karabakh region was positively appreciated by international structures, reports the Ministry of Energy.

Opportunities for cooperating with international financial institutions for the creation of such zone were discussed at the coordination meeting held online by the ministry, and the international structures voiced their interest in the relevant cooperation.

Iran’s long-range suicide drones’ operations successful

Iran’s long-range suicide drones succeeded in destroying the set targets in a drill, the public relations office of the Iranian Army reported on Wednesday.

The first major drone exercise of the Iranian Army kicked off in the northern central province of Semnan Yesterday (Tuesday).
Hundreds of combat drones are participating in the drills, the Army reported.

Turkish – Azerbaijani joint exercises entitled “Winter Exercises - 2021” start

The Turkish-Azerbaijani joint exercises entitled “Winter Exercises – 2021” were launched in Kars, Turkey, reports the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.

There is also shooting as part of the exercises.

The joint exercises will last from February 1 through February 12.

TAP to contribute to Azerbaijan’s economic security, prosperity – Ariel Cohen

The opening of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is great step forward for Azerbaijan because it will bring approximately $1 billion a year growth in revenue for Azerbaijan every year and will contribute to the country’s economic security and prosperity, stated Ariel Cohen, senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and founder of the International Market Analysis LLC.

Cohen said TAP will bring the Caspian gas from Azerbaijan to Europe via Georgia and Turkey and thus will diversify the sources of natural gas in Europe.

Economy Minister of Georgia welcomes Shah Deniz gaz supply through SGC
